SPREE 70 UPDATE

Over the past years we the Livonia Anniversary Committee have had the pleasure of celebrating the Birthday of our amazing city with all of our local supporters at the Annual Livonia Spree.

We would like to take this opportunity to reach out to those, who without, the Spree could not be possible. Residents, business owners, City Officials and leaders please know that our prayers and best wishes are with you and your families during this difficult time.

Yes, we are in the midst of a drastic time of uncertainty. However, as the President of the Spree I can make you certain of this...The Covid-19 Virus is not going to take away from our beautiful festival in 1 year what we have built over the past several years.

THE SPREE WILL GO ON and better than ever as we celebrate our 70th year! This year’s event is scheduled for June 23rd – June 28th. Those are still the planned dates and our committee is moving forward with the planning process just like any other year.

Pre-Sale discounted ride wristbands will still be available online, they will also be available to business’s and schools when they re-open. bands are booked, food vendors are committed and NEW this year we will have a Made in Michigan & Craft Vendor area in the south parking lot next to a BIGGER AND BETTER MARGARITTAVILLE TENT with Karaoke, Island food, music and festivities!

As hard has it may seem to plan anything more than 1 hour from now, I encourage you to share this message and plan your day(s) at what will be the BEST Livonia Spree ever, Spree 70!

However,...if circumstances arise that force us to postpone or cancel the event this year, NO WORRIES, we will pick up where we left off in 2021 with the Spree 70.1 celebration. We will honor all purchases, vendor booths, sponsorships, food vendor spaces, etc. that were reserved and purchased this year!

As always, we are here to answer any questions you have. Remember, the Spree gives all proceeds back to our community so please, support us by sharing this post, inviting friends, attending the event and volunteering. Without YOU there is no Livonia Spree!

Each year the people of Livonia celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the City
with a week-long birthday party.  Held at Ford Field at the corner of Farmington Road and Lyndon the last full week in June (23 - 28, 2020), Livonia Spree has something for everyone in the family:  delicious food; great music ranging from Country to jazz; a fantastic family carnival; and of course, the Grand Finale Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday night. 

The Men and Women of Spree have been working hard to plan another great year at Spree.  So...ready, set, GO to LIVONIA SPREE.
